Mystery Plant #90010

Added: 2011-01-01

An unknown shrub, growing on one of my properties in Grey County.

Suggestions
It looks a little like a young red mulberry. the leaf you have in your hand looks like one of the variations. Only the red mulberry has leaves that are fuzzy underneath. Also too, your plant has the alternate growth pattern that mulberrys have. If it was growing in a swampy area, and/or oozes a white sap when the leaves are torn, it is likely a mulberry.
