This plant in early spring. It has just emerged from the mud.
Later, in mid-May. This plant is flowering.
Flowers, one fully open, one partially, and one just starting to open. Yes, that's the end of one of my fingers in the photo!
This is a very tiny plant! Strange flowers, too. Very hard to see.
