Small-flowered Anemone flower. These photos are of plants in Nwefoundland. This species does occur in Ontario, but probably only in the subacrtic portions of the province.

These plants are growing in a gravelly habitat in Burnt Cape, at the tip of the Great Northern peninsula in Newfoundland.

Small-flowered Anemone leaves are somewhat leathery in appearance.
